Many of us hold human experiences that may play a part in shaping our reactions to stress, relationships, and how we view ourselves. As a biracial, Latinx, womxn born in Panama and raised in the southern US, I have a deep understanding of the unique cultural and societal factors that can impact mental health.
My journey has been shaped by an abundant tapestry of personal and professional experiences, fueling my commitment to support those struggling with grief, existential suffering, depression, anxiety/panic, relational challenges, boundary setting, complex trauma, PTSD, and more.
My approach is informed by an eclectic blend of therapeutic modalities including person-centered, relational, values-based, multicultural, psychodynamic, harm reduction, and somatic. I am a practitioner of ketamine assisted therapy (KAT) and provide integration for psychedelic experiences, as well as all altered states of consciousness. I completed Alchemy’s 2-year associateship training in psychedelic-assisted therapy, where I learned how to offer KAT through a social justice and depth psychotherapy lens.
I value the importance of meeting each individual where they are on their journey. By creating a nurturing and empowering environment, I strive to help clients uncover their own strengths and solutions. I welcome and work with communities and adults of all ages with complex backgrounds, BIPOC, queer, kinky, poly/ENM, immigrants, people who use drugs, and those shaken by grief.
My calling is to honor each person's unique story, create a safe space for exploration, and provide guidance on a path towards freedom and self-discovery. I believe therapy is a powerful tool for reforming intergenerational patterns, as we gently bring curiosity and insight to what has long remained unseen, using the therapeutic relationship itself as a container to explore relational patterns. Transformations such as this can provide a deeper liberation in one’s authenticity and allow for the capacity for connection with self, community, ancestors, and beyond. I feel privileged to be on this journey with you, and I look forward to assisting you in finding your strength and resilience within.
