Working in community mental health since 2014, I’ve supported a diverse adult clientele with a broad range of emotional and behavioral concerns, as well as significant life challenges. I have training and certification in two trauma therapies- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Havening Techniques®. I am trained and certified in the Hakomi Method, which uses body awareness to uncover how we are internally and emotionally organized. With a focus on self-compassion, I am influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and support a caring internal connection between the Self and our many parts.

We are each a culmination of our life experiences. To build a new relationship with ourselves, it's important to include the entirety of who we are- thoughts, emotions, body sensations, beliefs and memories. A trauma-informed approach also leads us to think systemically and recognize how social and political structures impact us inequitably as individuals. I join with clients as a team to examine the blended experience of these inner and outer worlds and find internal ground.

I have experience working with acute and complex/developmental trauma, depression, anxiety and panic, OCD, bipolar disorder. I also support in processing grief and loss, gender and sexuality, and non-traditional relationship models. I work with impulse and addictive concerns using a harm-reduction approach. My work is always strengths based and resiliency focused.
