Our long-awaited move to Root and Bloom Institute is finally here!
Below is some information for in-person therapy clients.
The address for the building is 830 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA 94710. There are two entrances, one on 6th St and one on Bancroft; clients should use the entrance on Bancroft. Please ask your therapist for the access code to the door. This entrance does have a slight slope leading up to the door, so if you use a mobility aid and/or need a more accessible entrance, let your therapist know so they can share a different code with you for the other side of the building.
In terms of how you get to the office, the building managers highly recommend means other than driving if possible due to limited parking near the building. If you do need/want to drive, please see the map on this page for where we are asked NOT to park.
We ask that the waiting room remain low-scent, to respect those who have sensory sensitivities. Our building will use fragrance-free cleaning supplies, and we have two therapy rooms that will be designated fully fragrance-free.
While service animals are allowed, we are still finalizing our Emotional Support Animal policy, so ESAs are currently not allowed in the building.
