I am an Associate Practicing Clinical Counselor with my Master of Arts in Integral Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies. I practice from a holistic perspective that includes the mind, body, and Spirit as equally important factors in personal growth and healing. I come from a background in Dance/Movement therapy and Somatic Studies, and use movement, sensory awareness, guided imagery, and mindfulness to assist clients in developing their awareness of emotions. I provide affirming therapy for LGBTQIA+ community members, and relationship therapy for queer/trans and gender non-confoming couples. I also work with neurodivergent individuals, artists, creatives, healers and helpers from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
I work from a Transpersonal perspective; the idea that connection to spirituality or a higher consciousness can be psychologically beneficial and supportive to personal healing, and am trained in Gestalt and Existential Therapy, which promotes self-acceptance of the many parts of ourselves, and integration of these parts into a cohesive whole. I am trained in psychedelic harm reduction and provide integration therapy for individuals exploring their consciousness with intentional psychedelic use and/or microdosing, and am passionate about providing accessible and culturally sensitive psychedelic therapy for people from marginalized backgrounds.
