There are many pathways to deeply knowing oneself in this life journey, and therapy can be one such path. People come to therapy for many reasons. All of those reasons revolve around one thing: something in their life is missing or is no longer working for them. I believe that our foundational desire is seeking ways to love more, whether it be ourselves or others. I also know that within each of us is a deep wisdom around what we need to heal. My place as a therapist is to offer as much space, awareness, and compassion for you to find that deeper knowing.

My approach prioritizes the quality of the therapeutic relationship, as I believe that it is through relationship that we all heal. Together we will develop a space that is welcoming and accepting, so that you have an opportunity to explore new ways of thinking and feeling about yourself, as well as examining your life patterns to determine what works and what no longer works for you. My existential lens also allows for a deep curiosity about the ways we make meaning of our lives.

I am currently finishing my PsyD at California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). My thesis is focusing on the developmental trauma of growing up gay/queer. Most of my training has centered on working within a relational psychoanalytic framework. I also have training on somatic awareness and bring that into my clinical work.

I enjoy working with individuals, older adults, and couples. I have experience working with consensual non-monogamy, those who identify on the queer spectrum, and childhood trauma. Additionally, I am interested in working with those who are examining their cultural identity. I do this by holding a sense of cultural humility and curiosity in our work together. I also have an interest in exploring non-ordinary states of consciousness and integrating those states into our everyday lives. I approach being a therapist through patience, care, and an awareness of the importance of social context.

I currently offer psychotherapy, ketamine assisted therapy, and integration work.
